FAQs

Does my child need to have gymnastics experience before starting?

No, we are inclusive of all abilities and welcome beginners as well as more advanced gymnasts.

Do I need to stay in the gym during the class?

No, grown-ups are not required in the gym during the class, there is no seating to accommodate you and children typically settle into the sessions better without grown-ups watching.

What should my child wear?

Whilst gymnasts are well-known for wearing leotards, we do not require this to attend our classes (your child is welcome to if they want to!). Leisurewear and easy-to-remove shoes and socks are essential. For health and safety purposes, all jewellery must be removed or covered and hair must be tied up.

Does my child require refreshments?

Yes, please bring your child to class with a bottled drink as we have regular breaks to ensure the children are hydrated. As the classes are under an hour, snacks are not required in the gym (unless necessary for health purposes).

My child has additional requirements, are they welcome?

Yes absolutely, we are an inclusive gym club and welcome all children, please discuss your needs directly with us when registering your child and we’ll do our very best to accommodate them.

Does my child have access to a toilet on site?

Yes, we have a large changing room with toilets available, we advise children to use the facilities before or after the session to get the most out of their classes, but they can use the toilets whenever they need to.

Is there free parking available?

Yes, the school car park has ample spaces available directly outside of the gymnasium for no cost.
